North Metro Community Home & Garden Show

Save the Date: Saturday, January 27, 2018

We had a great time on Saturday, February 4, 2017, 9 am to 3 pm, at the 19th Annual North Metro Community Home and Garden Show! It was certainly the place to be for all your home improvement, remodeling and landscaping needs! This annual event was sponsored by the Cities of Blaine, Columbia Heights, Fridley and Mounds View, who had staff on hand to answer your questions about housing, development and city planning. In addition to our great exhibitors, we had four seminars, door prizes, a sponsor treasure hunt, and a kids activity center with face painter – and it was all FREE! Kids also had a chance to visit with Lindy the Bear, the lovable and furry mascot of our 2017 Show Sponsor – the Kris Lindahl Team of RE/MAX Results.

New this year was our first Ugliest Room Contest, which was a lot of fun for those who registered as well as those who cast their votes for the Ugliest Room in the North Metro.

CTV North Suburbs had a segment about the North Metro Home & Garden show on the January 9 episode of their show North Suburban Beat that ran throughout the month on that channel and on the Mounds View government cable channel. North Metro TV had a feature on our Show highlighting the Ugliest Room Contest. (Huge thanks to North Suburban Beat producers Shannon Hunter and Maureen Anderson, CTV North Suburbs; Vanessa Van Alstine, Cable Television Coordinator, City of Mounds View; and Danika Peterson, News Director at North Metro TV.)

The 2017 Show had several Vendor Co-Sponsors! We want to thank them, and all of our exhibitors, for their participation in our Show.
