Energy efficiency improvements can help you save money on energy bills, lower your carbon footprint, and make your house more comfortable. This workshop will address low and no cost ways of improving the efficiency of your home, as well as whole house solutions and larger energy upgrade investments.
Stacy has been with CEE since 2009. Before coming on as the Recruitment and Outreach Coordinator for CEE's residential energy programs, Stacy worked in the field as an Energy Counselor on the Community Energy Services Program and Home Energy Squad Enhanced. Stacy has over a dozen years of community and environmental organizing experience. She has a B.A. in English and Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse.

In 2017, University of Minnesota research showed that Twin Cities homeowners are overwatering lawns. In this presentation, you will learn how to measure the output from your sprinkler system, how often and how much to water, and how to properly apply any fertilizers or pesticides to take advantage of your watering practices. Join us to learn more about environmentally friendly lawn maintenance practices.
Kim Sullivan has been a University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardener for 15 years. She has been a turf research assistant at the University and focuses on environmentally-friendly lawn care.

The session also will include color/sheen suggestions for different areas, things to consider when selecting colors, etc. Bring in your decorating ideas and discuss them with an expert!
